Hunter PROS-06 PRS40 CV Pro-Spray 6″ with Pressure Regulation and Check Valve

The PROS-04-PRS40-CV is pressure regulated at 40PSI to optimize MP Rotator nozzle performance.  This 6″ pop-up sprinkler features a check valve effective up to 14 feet of elevation. Hunter Pro-Spray sprinklers (also called spray heads or sprinkler bodies) are engineered to ensure long-lasting, reliable performance. These Pro-Spray PRS40 heads feature:

• Gray cap that identifies the PRS 40 pressure regulation and factory installed check valve option
• Co-molded wiper seal made from chemical- and chlorine-resistant materials prevents cap-to-body leaks, even with a loose cap
• Heavy-duty spring for consistent riser retraction
• Durable construction that is second to none
• Operational pressure range: 15 to 100 PSI
• Inlet size: 1/2″ FPT
• Inlet location:  Bottom
• Exposed diameter: 2-1/4″

This sprinkler head has a 6″ riser (the part that pops-up). The sprinkler body itself is 8-3/4″ long.  Please note that all spray heads are identified by the height of the riser and not by the overall length of the sprinkler body.  A 6″ spray head means the riser is 6″.  It is not the measurement of the overall length of the sprinkler.

Each spray head comes with a factory installed directional flush plug for cleaner system flushing after installation. When install is complete you just screw off the gray flush plug and screw on a nozzle for continued use (sold separately).

Remember – you must install a nozzle for the head to operate!  No nozzle is included.  Hunter Pro-Spray PRS40 heads are perfectly regulated to optimize the performance of MP Rotators.  You can also use other nozzles such as Hunter Pro Adjustable Nozzles, Pro Fixed Nozzles, or any other industry-standard female nozzles offering a high degree of flexibility.

Every Pro-Spray PRS40, regardless of size, has a grey cap that says PRO-SPRAY PRS40 which is the name of the spray head series.  It will not have the model or part number on it.  Models such as this one that have a factory installed check valve will also state “check valve” on the cap.
