Vu-Flow Rusco 3/4″ & 1″ 100 Mesh Poly Element for Trapper Filters

Description

This is a genuine Vu-Flow and Rusco OEM replacement filter media element in 100 mesh polyester, known as a Vu-Flow Screen Filter System or a Rusco Spin Down Filter System.

The durable polyester mesh material of this filter screen is chemical and bacterial resistant which makes it the perfect filter for lake and well-water.  It is for use in the following cold water filter systems:

• 3/4″ and 1″ Vu-Flow Sand Separator Filter systems
• 3/4″ and 1″ Rusco Sediment Trapper Filter systems

Both the 3/4″ and 1″ systems use this replacement element, which measures 5-1/8″ x 1-1/8″ and has a smooth circular base with 2 notches.  It is not for use with Vu-Flow Screen Filter or Rusco Spin Down systems, for which the element has a base with 4 protruding nubs.

How do you know what size filter system you have?  A 3/4″ or 1″ system means that the top inlet/outlet ports of the filter system “tee” are either 3/4″ or  1″ PVC.

This is an original Vu-Flow and Rusco OEM product, which they then brand after manufacture as either Vu-Flow or Rusco for distribution.  This is supplied to us directly from their shared headquarters.

Which size mesh is best for your use?  In general, use the coarsest screen deemed necessary to filter the material you want removed. This will result in longer runs between blow-downs.  The manufacturer’s recommendations are provided in the chart below:
