Vu-Flow Rusco 1″ Filter Cover Guard Sun Shield

Description

Made of a soft neoprene foam, Cover Guards or Sun-Shields inhibit algae growth within the filter and are recommended for algae prone systems or filters that are installed in direct sunlight.  Slip the sleeve over the plastic cover of your existing filter system.

This sleeve is compatible with:

• 3/4″ Vu-Flow Screen Filter systems
• 1″ Vu-Flow Screen Filter systems
• 3/4″ Rusco Spin Down Filter systems
• 1″ Rusco Spin Down Filter systems

How do you know what size filter system you have?  T-style filter systems are identified by the port size and not by the diameter or length of the filter element.  For example, a 1″ system means that the top inlet/outlet ports of the filter system “tee” are 1″ PVC.
