Vu-Flow Rusco 1-1/2″ Filter Cover Guard Sun Shield

Description

Made of a soft neoprene foam, Cover Guards or Sun-Shields inhibit algae growth within the filter and are recommended for algae prone systems or filters that are installed in direct sunlight.

This sleeve is compatible with:

• 1-1/2″ Vu-Flow Screen Filter systems
• 1-1/2″ Rusco Spin Down Filter systems

How do you know what size filter system you have?  T-style filter systems are identified by the port size and not by the diameter or length of the filter element.  A 1-1/2″ system means that the top inlet/outlet ports of the filter system “tee” are 1-1/2″ PVC.
