This is a genuine OEM stainless steel replacement filter element in 200 mesh for use in the following cold and hot water filter systems:

• 2″ Vu-Flow Screen Filter systems
• 2″ Rusco Spin Down Filter systems

Stainless steel mesh is a durable material, perfect for filtering cold water systems and applications using higher water temperatures, or where coarser particles are present.

This cartridge has a round base with 4 protruding nubs.  It is not for use with Sand Separator or Sediment Trapper systems, which have an element with a flared base on a stem.

Please note!  This measures 10″ x 1-7/8″ and is used in a 2″ filter system.  How do you know what size filter system you have?  T-style filter systems are identified by the port size and not by the diameter or length of the filter element.  A 2″ system indicates that the top inlet/outlet installation port (the “tee”) is 2″ PVC.

Which size mesh is best for your use?  In general, use the coarsest screen deemed necessary to filter the material you want removed. This will result in longer runs between blow-downs.  The manufacturer’s recommendations are provided in the chart below:
