Description

The T-style screen filter spin down system is designed to be utilized in a wide variety of cold water applications.  From keeping sand and large particles out of your lawn and turf irrigation system, to removing sediment as part of your whole home filter, this versatile filter is also indicated for factories, livestock feeding systems and advanced liquid cooling systems.

Sediment is visible through the clear filter cover making it easy to identify when the filter needs cleaning. Quickly and easily remove sediment by opening the ball valve at the bottom of the filter cover.

This complete OEM filter system includes:

• A clear cover made of high impact polymer resin for maximum strength and durability
• A filter body (the top T-connection) made of PVC material with 3/4″ female threaded connections in and out
• 1/2″ manual flush valve and spool of thread seal tape
• An installed, reusable polyester filter element in 60 mesh
  • Option: chose a money saving bundle that includes one additional filter element of the same mesh size

Specifications:

• This complete 3/4″ filter system measures 11-3/8″L x 5″W
• A 3/4″ system means that the top inlet/outlet installation ports on the “tee” are 3/4″
• The screen element used in this 3/4″ filter system measures 5-1/2″x 1-3/16″
• The Vu-Flow Screen Filter System and the Rusco Spin-Down filter system are the same product, branded differently after manufacture for distribution

A variety of other polyester and stainless steel elements are also available (sold separately).  Which size mesh is best for your use?  In general, use the coarsest screen deemed necessary to filter the material you want removed. This will result in longer runs between blow-downs.  The manufacturer’s recommendations are provided in the chart below:
